ISA Clients >> web proxy & secNat

hello,

i'm figuring out, amongst a lot off things :-), howto configure my webproxy
clients in isa enviroment

For now, all clients are secNat clients, i think that means, that the
gateway points to the isa server...and isa sends them on the net.

I want to use the advantage of caching, and i want to see the url in the
reports so i need my clients to be webproxy (firewall client is not possible
for me)
When i configure the name of the isa server in the browser, the client can
still surf, so i think so far so good.

But when i look @ the monitoring tool in isa, it says that my client is
still a secnat users!!!

then I configured the client without gataway, and i can still surf, but mail
is impossible....or does the client still need the gateway?

What is the correct way to configure my client?

Tx.

regards,
N.

Clients are not exclusively one type. They can be (are expected to be) all
three types at the same time (Web Proxy Client, Firewall Client, SecureNAT
Client).

ISA will handle them in this priority order :
1. Web Proxy
2. Firewall Client (aka Winsock Proxy Client)
3. SecureNAT Client

You can often see the same client three times in the monitoring,...once for
each type.
