ISA Clients >> Hide ISA 2004 Client Icon for users

Hi all,

is there any way to hide the Client icon in system tray for users? Users
can generally disable the FW client (not stop the service, just disable
client in control panel). Any GPO settings, setup parameter, whatever.

Thanx

3. ISA 2004 Client intermittently prompts for user name and password

Hi,

We are running ISA 2004 in a Server 03 domain. Lately, users report that
they are prompted for a username and password, when they attempt to access
the Internet. Invariably the users are locked out, when they enter their
credentials. Further, the problem is intermittent, but once it begins, the
same user experiences the problem. Finally on pc's having the problem, we
have noticed that their packets are viewed by the ISA server as anonymous,
even though the users have authenticated on the domain. Has anyone seen
these symptoms before and know a fix?

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi - in Small Business Server 2003 Prem. updated to SP1 with ISA 2004 - is
there a way to push the Windows Firewall Client for ISA 2004 to each of the
users computers - easily? If so, how. It looks like one can do so in new
client setup - but these are existing users and computers. Thanks in advance.

7. Replacing ISA 2004 client with ISA 2000 client

I have an XP client that had ISA 2004 client installed. No web caching from
ISA 2000 servers; I use host based browsing to test development work. When
I change the hosts file and ping the site, the results don't change, though
the hosts file changes IP addresses. For an identical client except that it
uses ISA200o firewall client, the change works and when I ping, I get the
host that is in the hosts file. Any suggestions?
