ISA Clients >> Firewall Client - Automatically detect ISA server

Why do I have to uncheck the Automatically detect ISA server check box in
order to use Outlook Express, Messenger, and WS_FTP Pro? Is there a better
way than checking and unchecking this check box? ISA 2000 under SBS 2003.

If it's working, it's possible that the rules for authenticated users do not
permit access to those sites, but that rules for anonymous users do.

If it's broken and doesn't auto-detect the server at all, I'd concentrate on
troubleshooting and fixing that instead.

3. Firewall Client Does Not Detect ISA Server

Hi,

Our Firewall Client software will not detect our ISA
Server. It's there, it works, but we have to point at it
manually via the Connections - LAN settings.

Why can't the Firewall Client Software see our ISA
server? Any ideas would be appreciated.
