ISA Clients >> Explorer OWA Page Dislpay Errors

by TWVnYXN0cmVhbQ » Thu, 14 Sep 2006 19:53:02 GMT

I have sucessfully installed ISA2006 Enterprise with SSL with BASIC
authentication.

Externally from the corporate network once the user has sucessfully logged
on, the OWA display opens the MAILBOX for the user showing all emails.

However towards the end of page display on error appears in Yellow Triangle
:- Done with Errors on Page.

Double clicking on the error shows the following :-

Line 175
Char 1
Error Object Expected
Code 0
URL https://my_Domain_Name/Exchange/ssladmin/Inbox/?Cmd=contents

There approx 3 of these errors, Althought the browser window shows the
emails the VIEW Pane does not display the email.

Click buttons on the page some do not work. ie. LOGOFF has no function
Browser is Explorer V6.

Internally on the network displaying the OWA presents no problem what so ever.

Could it be a Permission attribute setting to the virtual directory's on the
IIS default website

Are you using forms based authentication feature of ISA?

No - Using BASIC Authentication on ISA 2006 front screen

I did enable at some stage FORMS BASED AUTHENTICATION in Exchange System
Manager - Protocols - HTTP - Exchange Virtual Server. Now switched off.

It was orginally giving ISA BASIC Authentication box as well OWA FORM
Authentication.

Hi,

I've got this exact problem, and have tried so many things on ISA 2006 to
try and see if anything worked. I have not been able to fix this issue.

Can some one suggest a fix as there isn't one listed here?

2. How to disable 'Script Error' prompt when openning a page with script errors

Hi, I embedded webbrowser within my application acting as an HTML viewer.
However, when an HTML page contains invalid scripts (mostly 'copy-paste'
operation off a website), the viewer throws several 'Internet Explorer
Script Error' prompt pages, and ask user to click 'Yes', or 'No' in order to
continue.

This behavior is highly undesirable since I can see that Outlook never
displays an error message with the same HTML page, nor does Internet
Explorer, which only shows a small warning icon and details on the bottom
left corner instead of an annoying popup message.

Does someone know how do I achieve same effect with the webbrowser OCX
control?

Thanks!

4. Allow access only at specific page on internet explorer

Hi Josue,

First create a destination set for your website www.myapplonweb.com then
create a Deny rule
in your Site and Content rules.
The destination set you've created will be an exeption in this rule.
Be carefull to who you assign this rule to. If you make the rule to respond
to any request then another allow rule won't work (for Admins??).

8. change ISA 2006 OWA logon page

Good evening,

We have a modified OWA logon page that we want to use through isa2006. When
I enable OWA through the ISA server, I only get the default html page....

I already tried the isa 2004 procedure about how to modify the page....but
it doesn't work for isa 200...it seems to use a dll.

thanks
