I've exported groups from OE on a PC - via a workaround - into a text file.

I'm trying to add them as a group to OE 5.06 on a mac and can't get it to
work.

In the text file they're in this form

FirstName LastName < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >; FirstName LastName < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >;
FirstName LastName < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >; [and so on]

Can anyone tell me how to get them in as a group?

I've searched around for information about disabling VB script in Outlook Express for Mac -- and found nothing. Just some references to "VB is not supported in OE on Mac". Can this be? And more importantly... If this is true, does this mean that Macs using OE can NOT spread virii? Thanks, chrisk

I can't take it any more... Every time I open OE, after viewing 2 or 3 emails, my system locks up... hangs... i wait and wait... nothing. I have waited over 30 minutes just to see if it was trying to do something, but nothing. The mouse still moves, but i can not click on anything, nor go back to the desktop... it just hangs. when i do a force quit, it asks "are you sure..." and when i click YES, it just locks there... won't restart... the YES box is shaded so i know i clicked on it, and if i force quit again, i can click on YES again, but still it won't actually do anything. So i am forced to do a hard restart by pressing the button on the G4. When i go back into OE, it lets me look at 2 or 3 emails and then does it again. Are there any viruses going around that effect the Mac's Outlook Express? I have rebuilt and compacted the database.. i have deleted most all the emails... i have thrown away the preferences... i have re-downloaded and reinstalled OE... still the same problem.... oddly, i have noticed that if I rebuild and compress the database, it seems to work a little longer (like letting me look at 10-20 emails) before it locks up... when i restart, it's back to 2 or 3 before it hangs. anyone? anyone? i got so fed up with it, i went and installed Netscape Mail, BUT alas, it won't let me import my mail from Outlook. Ho Hum... can any one shed some light?? Thanks! jeff

Hi, I'm not very familiar with Macs, so please be kind. I have a client with OE 5.01 on his Mac and he needs to upgrade to a version that supports Server Authentication. At the Microsoft web site, however, the link to OE goes nowhere, but there is another link to an app called Entourage. Has Entourage replaced OE for the Mac? If so, is it still possible to get the last release of OE to minimize the adjustment for this client? And where? Thanks.

Hi, When I type a "T", for example, into the New Message To box, Outlook 5.0.5 crashes. This even happens when I'm adding a CC address. I downloaded 5.0.6 but I can't open it since even clicking on the icon automatically opens 5.0.5. and I can't delete the program since I have no idea how to transfer my Address Book, and I've got tons of mail inside the In Box. Any help much appreciated. Derek
