html >> Firefox Issue with Search Box

Hello,

I have yet to find a solution on the below issue. Thanks for any help you can
provide me. It's been bugging a group of us for a bit now. :(

The below questions references this http://barrie.wearenetwork.com/.

When one views the above page in IE, the top search box with the words "Enter
a Keyword" appears correctly with the right horizontal dimensions. Is essence,
it looks the way we want it to.

Now if one view the above URL in Firefox, than the search box that was just
mentioned is too far extended and bumps the "Search" button down and creates a
mess on the front header part.

Now from what I understand, Firefox and IE treat character limits on input
boxes differently. We can get it to work in Firefox, but than it looks quite
bad in IE.

Is there a way to have fields behave differently in different browsers? Or
does anyone know of a solution in a different manner? Any help would be much
appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Control the width of the text box using a CSS definition of width:180px; rather than using the HTML size=65. Substitute whatever pixel width is appropriate if 180 pixels is not correct.
