IIS Server Security >> Microsoft.exe

by Greg Olgin » Thu, 11 Sep 2003 03:43:24 GMT

Folks,
This is the second day in a row I have received this in my
e-mail. It has 13 different viruses packed into it. Is
there any way that it can be stopped from being set all
over the place?

Unfortunately, you can't really stop someone else from sending it to you!
Maybe your email provider has some service where they can filter certain
types of attachments for you. Otherwise, you may consider changing to an ISP
that does.

In any case, this group is for IIS (webserver) security issues. You are in
the wrong group. Talk to your email provider.

Cheers
Ken
