Can anyone please advise:- I have install a new cert on a win2k server. I have set a page up as a https page in IIS When I try to load http:/local/test.htm it displays the messages this page must be viewed over a secure channel use https:// WHICH is correct. so when I try https:/local/test.htm I get the messge you are about to view pages over a secure connection, again this is correct. The issue is that the page is not served up I get the page cannot be displayed check network setting etc. the standard DNS error. Thanking you in advance for any assistance. Anthony

We have an Exchange 2k server with SSL for OWA. I upgraded to new hardware and need to get the SSL certificate from the old server to the new server. I created a Certificate MMC snap-in, found the IIS certificate and exported it using the Wizard. I put the file on the new server and double clicked it to run the Wizard. Apologize if this sounds like a total DUH question... SSL Cert on web site is expiring next month... What happens if I request a renewal today? Will the site be down till I get my renewal? Or will my site still be operational? Apologize but new to this IIS 6.0 stuff... thanks for any help.

Ok, I have a little dilema here, I need to create a new ssl cert on my W2k Server running IIS 6.0 with new information in the cert. The problem is, my company needs to have the cert generated in a specific way (company name must be 1st letter cap and the rest lower case) so that it goes through invoicing correctly. The problem is that the original cert was created with all caps. Is there a way to create a new cert from scratch with the new company name completed correctly, while the current cert is still active? I am assuming that if I create a brand new cert, I must first delete the old one and start from scratch thus leaving the site down until the new cert is installed? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
