Well, I thought I finally made it through one day without BCM locking up and
shutting down. But I made the fatal mistake of trying to update one more
contact before going to bed. I entered a name inthe search field and hit
enter and BCM shut down and sent off the prerequsite report to MS. If it has
done this once since the 07 upgrade it has done it 500 times. Is there a fix
onthe way? Jim

Look in the prerequsite report. Is it Bcm, Outlook, or Windows Search
choking? Look in the Windows Event log. There should be an error event
at the same time it sent the report to MS, with a Watson bucket error
number, or something like that. Get that number. Then you'll have a
precise issue to report to Microsoft, and the more people bring up a
specific issue, the likelier it is to be fixed.

I had moved from Act and used the accounts as groups.  When I realized groups 
should be catagories I switched them over.  Then I went to start deleting the 
accounts after I would remove each contact from the account.  The problem is 
I didn't realize I had to save the account each time after removing the 
contact from the account so it was deleting the contacts in the group even 
though I removed them.  I didn't realize this was happening until I delted 
about 700 contacts.  I found the BCM deleted file and brought a lot of them 
back which caused a lot of duplicates but for some reason there are still a 
lot of contacts missing.  I don't know which ones so I have to bring them all 
in to double check.  

I'm running 2007 with SP2...is there an upgrade?

Should I run in safemode to see if that fixes the BCM from shutting down?

4. Shutting down Outlook w BCM 

When I exit Outlook it stays on in task manager.  When I try to restart 
Outlook, I need to open task manager and shutdown (end process) of the larger 
memory usage Outlook before it will start the new session.  Any resolution to 
this issue?

Having this issue now...
I start Outlook 2007, Click on CONTACTS, then if I click on Account or 
Business Contacts, Outlook shuts right down.

It does not shut down if I click on just the contacts for Outlook... Only 
the BCM contacts and accounts.

Any suggestions?

I show NO diagnostic issues, nor do I get any errors starting up Outlook.

8. Access sending emails via outlook shuts down access 

I am using Access VBA code to send an Access 97 Report as an attachment to an 
email sent via Outlook 2002 on a Windows XP SP2 platform.  Pushing the email 
button I get a window telling me the email file is being created. I then get 
a message saying Access has encountered an error and must be shutdown.

This process works on a Windows 2000 platform and did work on XP until we 
loaded SP2.
