bcm >> Link account to SBA

I have upgraded to SBM 2007 and using SBA 2006.

I have tried to link a new BCM account to the SBA 2006, by clicking to "Link
to Accounting" and then "add account as a customer".

However I am getting the following error:
"Business Contact Manager for Outllok could not complete your last action or
actions. Please try again."

I have read through the post and I saw a message indicating that I had to
unistall the BCM and reinstall it. I did that but the error does not go away.

Any help, would be appreciated.

Anyone has any answer???? Please, it is getting really annoying not being
able to link the account and having to go to SBA in order to retype the
customer.

Does your login have administrator/owner permissions in SBA?

Are you using BCM for Outlook 2007 or BCM for Outlook 2003. If you are using
2003 version, the integration support with OA 2007 is available through a
service pack that we released yesterday. You can goto team blog to find more
information about it.

Please reply if you are seeing this issue with BCM 2007.

3. Unable to Link BCM Update SP1 to SBA 2006 SP1

I have a SBS 2003 Premium set up with SBA 2006 Installed on the server and
the BCM database located on the server as well.

The client PC has BCM and is connecting fine to the BCM database on the
server. SBA 2006 is also on the client, and it is connecting fine to the
SBA database on the server. I try to connect BCM to SBA by performing the
following steps:

1) Click on Business Tools >> Accounting Tools
2) Click on Set up Connection to Accounting
3) Select 'Yes' under "Do you want to connect...blah blah blah"

This is as far as I can get. The Browse button under "Database Locator
File" remains grayed (greyed?) out. I am an administrator on the local PC.

Any suggestions?

7. Linked Accounts: How to link multiple accounts to opportunites

I use opportunites in BCM 2007 quite extensively. For as long as i've
looked, and waited for an update/release, there still doesn't seem to be a
way to link opportunities to multiple accounts and/or contacts. This is
becoming more and more essential for what I do.

Can anyone help me find a solution, even a work-around will do.
Essentially, what I want to do is this: Create an opportunity, link it to
multiple records, work up my quote, and send it to everyone linked to that
record.

To send the quotes out, i use a combination of ms accounting and simple mail
merge from word - depending on which method is faster per opportunity. Mail
merge would be fine if there were more fields available to find and filter
the contact list. I'd love to be able to just select the opportunity as a
filter for all the contacts associated with it. The only applicable field to
really work with there is 'categories' - and that would get out of control
real quick in my process.

Any help is appreciated.
