bcm >> Synchronization with Exchange ActiveSync

I see that you have a tool for AS with BCM2007 - the problem is that we run
our system remotely and can only use Exchagne ActiveSync to sync contacts.
Is there any plan on having the Business Contact list auto-sync with user'
personal contacts?

We use a 3rd party product to sync between Public Folders and Personal
Contact lists but the product does not "see" the BCM folders (probably
because they are in SQL?)

Thanks!

hi

We do have the problem that always after a synchronization between outlook
and a Dell Axim, when Outlook is closed, Outlook disapears but the process
outlook.exe keeps running. The problem is, outlook.exe doesnt end properly
and it also doesnt synchronize with Exchange. Sure, asking users to do a
manual synchronization before ending outlook is a workaround.

If no synchronzation is started, even when the PDA is in the cradel outlook
ends as expected and the synchronization between outlook and Exchange is
done.

We have that on Windows 2000 and Windows XP PC, some use Outlook 2000 others
Outlook 2003. We do use ActiveSync 3.8 and all the Dell Axims have Pocet PC
Version 4.20.1081 on it.

Any idea why outlook doesnt end and synchronize with Exchange?

Any advice is appreciated.

Daniel

4. Lost ActiveSync synchronization

Hi. I synchronize my iPaq PPC with Outlook 2000 via ActiveSync 3.8 on my home
PC and on my computer at work. A few days ago I had a crash on my home PC,
and now when I plug in for synchronization I first get the ActiveSync window
showing thousands of calendar, Contacts & other items to synchronize, and
then I get a 'Combine and Replace' grey radio button box, which offers:
'Combine items' on PC and PPC; 'Replace items' on my device; or 'Do not
synchronize at this time'.

The iPaq is synching perfectly well with the PC at work, and those 2
machines are fully up to date, so I certainly don't want to overwrite what's
on the iPaq with the out of date records on the home PC: also, I presume if I
'combine' everything I'll get duplicates. How can I proceed to update Outlook
on my home PC again, and then keep all 3 machines in sync?

Many thanks.

8. Outlook/Email Synchronization via ActiveSync wirelessly.

I have an Audiovox SMT 5600 Smartphone running Windows
Mobile 2003 second edition. I am having a problem with
synchronizing my Outlook email, contacts, calendar, etc.
using the phone's Active Sync. I am trying to connect to
my Exchange 2003 server wirelessly over the Internet for
synchronization. Below is the error message I get.

Error code: CONNMGR_36
Unable to connect. Verify your dialup or proxy settings
are correct, and try again.

I can connect to my 2003 Exchange OMA (Outlook Mobile
Access) through the Internet Explorer on the phone
successfully. However, I get this messages when ActiveSync
on the phone tries to sync wirelessly. We are using our
own SSL certificates on our Exchange 2003 Server.
