I really love the totla and insanse drivel that comes out of the
prepubecent minds in this group. I can understand being 'disapointed'
with a delay in the release of a demo...but you people take it beyond
any reasonable level.

[sarcasm on]
How many of you bozos know that your favorite telivision shows are show
well in advance....thats right...they shoot the eppisodes and then DONT
RELEASE THEM right away...<SHOCK!!!!>.....sometimes they even PUT OFF
the weekly installment for a MONTH to better coincide with viewship and
advertising.

As if all that wasnt enough...the bastards are doing it with movies
too!!!! Most movies are completed MONTHS before release....some are
dont over 6 months or even a YEAR before release....this crap is just no
fair.
[/sarcasm off....not that the clueless noticed]

Flame away...it just shows your level of ignorance......yes Im
disapointed...and it 'sucks'....but my Gucking Fod people.

Actually you have shown your ignorance by comparing apples to oranges.
Movies and TV shows are much different than a game and the industry is alot
different as well. The media blitz for a movie consists of trailers shown
both in theatres and on TV and printed review/previews shown in newspapers.
These are done WELL in advance of the actual showing of the production.

In this case they have delayed the demo to coincide with the release of the
full game, NOT months in advance like TV shows, movies etc.

People are not disappointed about the delay in the release of the game, they
are disappointed by the failure to release the demo, which was promised for
last week and for the stupid reasons that it was delayed.

You see, when the fuel-limited demo was announced by Carl as being released
this week, the number one complaint was "remove the fuel limit otherwise, so
we can enjoy it up to the release of the game." When Ubi-Soft executives
were presented with this problem, the immediate solution was to delay the
demo so that the limited fuel wouldn't be a concern anymore. :)

Apples and oranges have much in common in spite of comments to the
contrary.
They are both fruit, food, have color, have seeds, skin, and both end
up out the same place.
The comparison is well made as both are products sold to the public
for a hoped for profit.
They are both subject to marketing, promotions, advertising, strategy,
and public acceptance.
They are both non essential entertainment and the same forces apply as
to their success or failure.
The basic business decisions are very applicable to both.
And speaking of "trailers", just what do you think a "demo" is?
Movies, etc. have reviewers and critics and games have much the same.

"Stupid reasons", "good reasons", or "no reasons" are strictly their
choice.
A projected release date is not the same as a "promise to pay a loan".
They are free to make any comments they wish to and "NO CONTRACT" is
created by their release date or withdrawal thereof.

Please exclude me in the "you people" comment. I can wait--- to
infinity if nec.
