I managed to find and download drivers for the AC'97 and the sound is fine
now.......but still not getting fps any higher than 1.0 ! .....
I am using 44.30 drivers from Nvidia, so they are the latest ones available,
so I am still clueless to what the problem may be ...

works.

Your anti-virus software isn't scanning in the background is it? Might want
to check task manager to see what's running in the background.

FS2002 and FS2004 Problems.........

by M » Wed, 06 Aug 2003 08:14:32 GMT

Well........it WAS the force feedback causing the problem!!!
Thanks again to Mitch for that spot on help.........
Unfortunately I seem to have swapped one problem for another, the program is
so unstable I get around 3 minutes off flight time with great fps....better
than FS2002 I reckon..... (just enough to marvel at the clouds) before I
either get a bsod, crash to desktop or one of those internet report on
problems thingies.........
Ah well......

It may well be a problem with the Win98se driver being only 44.30 and nvidia
haven't seemed to want to update it (and probably wont now).......
WinXP is an option but I don't have the necessary moolah to buy a new
printer, scanner etc etc etc........

So to quote someone else
"Aargh,Fuck you Microsoft!"

refund

Thanks for the reply to a previous question.

So I've now got FS2002 and FS 2004 installed on my PC

what files do I need to move aircraft from 2002 to 2004 that will bring
the aircraft, liveries, sounds and panels etc. with them?

Can you recommend a resource that gives an overview of what makes up a
FS aircraft?

Thanks again
