When you assign thrust reversers for an add on like the Lago Tornado to a
controller switch, say a two position rocker or slide switch, I understand
that F1 (decrease throttle) and F2 (cut throttle) are used for this, but
should you use the sliders in the sim settings for these two functions or
should one or both of these functions remain a toggle (no slider)? I've
tried it several ways and am getting mixed results. It seems to function
best with a slider to the right for F1 and no slider selected in the
settings for the F2. Is this right?

I have button assigned to the f2 and had better luck with the slider 1/2 or
better. I think you would want the higher repeat rate to fully engage thrust
reversers.
can't honestly say about using the f1 as this.

I've earlier played Moment of Sielnce on my pc. When trying to install
the game on my girlsfriends machine I get an error message running cd
3. It says something about en decompress error (not enough space.).
The hd has over 11 gb free. So I tried installing the game again on my
own pc. No problem. What can be the issue on this ?. My girlfriend
have a very fast machine and normally has no problem in running games.

Can someone please help ??.

8. LOR: Return of the King Question, please 

Just bought Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and, to my inexperienced 
eyes, it looks amazingly cool. One thing I cannot figure out -- I run the 
game on Windows XP and can hear all the battle effects and such, no 
problem. But in the transitions -- the films -- I have to resort to 
subtitles to see what's being said. It seems as if Voices simply does not 
work?

What would be the cause of that? I'd understand some major problem if I 
couldn't hear anything, but why selective? Are the movie segments and 
voices that match the subtitles on some "track" I just can't pick up?
