WOW! I LOVE this control combination. Now if I can just build me a good chair for it... Anyone out there contemplating this stick should get on the preorder list at one of the retailers ASAP. It's pure heaven to fly once you learn your configuration. Sweeeeeet. Now if MS can just implement decent weather in 2004.... hehe.

I will shortly have a fairly new Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar complete outfit for sale; (now an extra for me) TM stick and throttle and a set of gameport CH rudder pedals that attach in series to the stick, complete with all software. This setup works either as a plug and play in XP using directx, or with the supplied TM software. The throttle is being overhauled now under warranty by TM to fix an issue with the speed brake slider switch, and when returned, will be in like new condition. Price for all three controllers as a set is $200. Anyone interested please feel free to post, and I'll get together with you back channel. 7. Selling Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar / Elite Rudders
I believe I've made my decision. After further play with my Cougar and based on experience of others, I am going to be posting my Cougar on eBay with the Elite rudder pedals. I played with the Cougar a bit more, and as much as I love the concept of the stick, that is all I bought; a concept that didn't meet my expectations. For the value of the Cougar, I will have to part with it to get the cash needed for the CH stuff. My X-45 is going back to the store for a full refund as well, and will be ordering CH gear next week. I'm going totally USB, however will be disappointed with the fact that I will not be able to play older games that recognize only one joystick input. If anyone would like to make an offer for the HOTAS Cougar/Elite Rudder pedals setup, please send it to XXXX@XXXXX.COM . I will post a link when on eBay along with photos of the hardware.
