3. Nvidia Quardro 4 380 XGL graphics card for RH 9

Dear all,

Does anyone has any experience using Nvidia Quardro 4 380 XGL graphics
card on RH 9.0? The RD web site showed that driver can be download from
Nvidia web site. But i would like to know if it is suitable to use it. What
should we be careful if we trying to use it on RH 9.0? Thanks!

5. rs6000 380 Boot / CDROM

Hi All,

A couple of quick questions:-

I have AIX 5.2 on CDROM - will this version of AIX support this old
hardware?

I'm trying to boot the above media from CD - and the RS6000 just cycles
between front-panel codes of 223 (possibly 224) and 229. These are
original AIX CD's (not CDR's). It boots from HD ok (but I don't have the
root password).

The HD has diagnostic tools installed, and I can probe the SCSI bus and
setup new hardware, change boot order etc - everything runs as expected. I
just can't then boot from CD.

Any pointers? Are there any links to boot time codes? I've had real
trouble finding anything about these machines on the net. The AIX 5.2
manual doesn't cover booting the media ... and neither do any guides on the
net. I figure it should be straightforward ... but I'm obviously missing
something.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,
