Is XXXX@XXXXX.COM a valid email address? I get a message:
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
XXXX@XXXXX.COM

Delivering email to every one else in mydomain.com is ok. Does anyone
have any ideas?

Hi Ricky,

It is a valid address as long as you have an Administrator account with an
associated mailbox.

Hope this helps,

2. Exchange 5.5 Exchange Administrator talking to Exchange2003 questions

I'm trying to get Exchange 2003 Ent (on Windows Server 2003 Ent)
interoperating with our existing Exchange 5.5SP4 installation and I think I
have ADC problems. ADC is setup for the Exchange 5.5 server, however after
the initial replication I realised that I had set it up badly and altered
the destinations in AD where the Exchange Objects should replicate to. I
think this may be my issue but I need to know what I should be seeing.

I would appreciate it if someone could answer the following questions:

1. When running Exchange 5.5 Administrator and looking under the site name
while connected to the Exchange 5.5 server, should I be able to see the
Exchange 2003 server listed along with the 5.5 server under "Servers" ?

2. Similarly, when I use the Exchange 5.5 Administrator and connect to the
Exchange 2003 server, should I see the Exchange 5.5 server listed under
"Servers" along with the Exchange 2003 server?

3. When I connect to the Exchange 2003 server using Exchange 5.5
Administrator and click "Configuration", in the right pane I only see the
following:

            Servers
            Site Encryption Configuration
            Site-MDB-Config

I suspect I should see a few more items, and I suspect I should see more or
less all of the items from an Exchange 5.5 server - am I right?

4. When I use Exchange 5.5 Administrator to connect to the Exchange 2003
server and click on a recipients container, I see the error:

"The contents of the container cannot be seen because the recalculation of
the directory hierarchy is not yet complete. Try again in a few minutes"

Is this normal? (I suspect so as Ex2003 doesn't work the same way as 5.5)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,
I have a couple of Exchange 2003 servers with multiple Information Stores.
Is there any way for me to delegate the permission to non Administrator user
to create the mailboxes on a specific Information Store only (when creating a

Appreciate your response.

8. Exchange mailbox limits alert, to user and administrator

Hi!

I need to know if anyone can help me dealing with this.
Despite I have formerly communicated mailbox limits, in a a one-to-one
comunication, written, set up a customized schedule to alert users, and
translated the alerts from english to spanish to avoid responses like "My
mailbox is closed because I dont undertand the alert, cos not know
Engluish", behavioral problems of users make me think in an aditional task
to do

Does anyone knows ahow can I send the warning, alert (limit proximity), the
prohibit send alert, and the mailbox closed alert, to the user and to
another person, for example, system admin?

Environment: Windows 2003 native domain (english), exchange 2003 FE-BE
enterprise (english)
