I am having difficulty automating bullets in word. I would like to automate
bulleting something like:
Code: Crane
InputFile: CraneHeight.inp
OutputFile: CraneHeight.out

Any thoughts? I have tried using macros but it didnt help much.
Thanks,

G'day "NT" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >,

Use three styles, List Bullet 1, 2 & 3

List Bullet 1 gets set to a bullet of text Code: no indent, follow on
style set to List Bullet 2.

List Bullet 2 gets set to bullet of text InputFile:, indented, follow
on style of List Bullet 3

List Bullet 3 gets set to bullet of text OutputFile:, indented, follow
on style set to List Bullet 1.

2. Word 2004 problems with bulleting, outline numbered, and tab

When I installed Word 2004 on my mac (running 10.3.5), the first
bullet level that appears when you "turn on" bulleting using the icon
in the menu bar is a grayed-out square that does not print when the
document is printed. The subsequent "bullet levels" all work. I have
tried customizing this first bullet to be as close to a dot as I can
find in the customization options, but the problem is that these
customized bullets sometimes read differently when my PC colleagues
open up my documents, and I'd like to keep my documents pretty
conservative and not have strange symbols show up. The funny part is
that if I just go with the grayed out square, it shows and prints off
a PC as the traditional dot. Is there any way that I can turn my
grayed out square back into the classic bullet-dot that I know and
love?

Secondly, when using the outline-numbered feature, which I use quite a
bit, I used to be able to advance to the next level using the tab key.
Now, I hit return to take me to the next line, and when I hit tab, the
character no longer automatically indents and becomes the appropriate
subsection. It just stays as the next number in the series, lined up
underneath the previous line (the tab causes an indent of the cursor,
of course). When I use the promote/demote buttons, the characters
advance properly, but this is a waste of time. How do I fix this
problem?

Thank you.

4. Word 2003 Bulleting

I've been wasting a bunch of time trying to get Word 2003 to not make wrong
guesses.

I want part of a document:
7.	Current Project - Yada yada
	a.	06/02/2005 - Yada Yada
		1.	Yada Yada
		2.	Yada yada as in the following:
			Bulleted line
		3.	Yada Yada
		4.	Yada Yada
		5.	Yada Yada
		6.	Yada Yada
	b.	06/03/2005 - Yada Yada

Trouble is, each time I insert the bulleted line, the subsequent numbered
bullets renumber. If I tell them to continue instead of renumber, they tab
over, but keep a 1.

I tried this for a half hour without being able to out guess Word.

Are there any tricks I can try here?

I'm typing notes in an outline style using bullets. Normally I can start a
bulleted line ,enter to go to the next line and tab so the bullet moves over
and changes to another style bullet. The problem now is that I start notes on
one bulleted line, hit enter and tab, HOWEVER the bullet doesn't move over,
the cursor does. I've tried a million things to fix this and it doesn't seem
to work. Any suggestions?
