Why can't microsoft admit XP is not all that it was raved
about and why do we have to do all this begging for help.
Some of us have handicapes, mine being my dominate hand
is smashed and I have other issues with them. Where the
h_ _ _ are they? They have no technical help, it is a
fantasy. I must point out, I am a member of the very over
the hill gang, but I want to learn. Are they that
paranoid and money hungry that they are willing to left
us to fend for ourselves. I have no respect for any part
of microsoft. Thank all you, who are in the same boat as
I, allowing me to vent because microsoft sure doesn't
care. I would like to meet Mr. Bill Gates, his staff and
board of directors, so I can confront them with these
issues and gain some self satisfaction.
I apologize to those of you, who like me, are stuck, I
wish we all could confront the fat cats but that is
fantasy too.

Why can't you admit you only have a tenuous hold on sanity.

1. After print job prints states printed in print queue

Hello all,

After setting up an HP Color Laserjet 3500 on a 2000 server we are having
problems where the print job resides as printed in the print queue and we
must manually clear the queue. We have tried to remove the printer and
re-added it to no avail.... Any thoughts or ideas?

When I print a file using "print.exe", the printed output
doesn't use the options that I have set

Preferences".

In the "Printing Preferences", I have selected that print
jobs should use a certain input tray and be printed 2-
sided. Printing from Windows applications works just
fine, but printing using the "print.exe" command in
Windows doesn't work the way I have specified.

Any workaround ideas? Can someone from Microsoft look
into fixing this?

Martyn,

I have a similar problem even though I am not using
Citrix or Terminal Services. Simply trying to print to an
HP Deskjet 932C. The print job appears in the print queue,
after about 5s, shows "Printing - Deleting", and then the
job disappears from the queue.

Please let me know if anyone has suggestions as they may
be applicable for me as well.
