Working with an XP home user that has to enter their
password in if the PC sits idle too long. Windows goes
back as if the original login screen came up.

I don't know where to disable this...

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Screen Saver and uncheck On
resume, password protect, or On resume, show Welcome Screen, as appropriate.

Hello,
KDE times out after a minute of inactivity or so, and prompts me with
a login prompt. Well, entering password is impossible at that point,
since every keystroke echoes as 3 stars!
How do I disable this KDE timeout bug, oh i mean feature. :)
Environment: Mandrake community 10.1.
Thank you.

4. Inactivity Timeouts for TS client connections

Request for Information:

Is there a way for me to configure the Terminal Servers to
automatically diconnect users after a period of time, i.e.
one hour.

Reason: We only have 2 licences that allow us to TS to the
server. The 2 users keep forgetting to logoff before they
terminate their connection with the TS. Because these are
remote servers I have no other alternative but to do a
remote restart on that server. Hence the reason I would
like to know if there is a inactivity timeout for
connections in TS.

Thank You,

6. RWW inactivity timeout

Running SBS2003 SP1 premium , No ISA installed but with Sonicwall TZ170.
Wondering what is controlling Timeout in RWW with inactivity?
Would like to lengthen (seems to be about 30 minutes) but unsure if it is
setting via SBS or controlled at client level or controlled from Sonicwall?
Can someone shed some light on this?

Thanks much
Great group, great product
