Internet Explorer will load the regular pages fine, but
when there is a pop-up on that site, it opens a new
window, and stays white for about 15 seconds, and then
finally loads the pop up. I also can not close the
window while it Does anyone know why this happens with
pop-ups? I just bought a new computer, so i know that my
computer is fast enough to handle it. I think it must
have to do something with internet explorer, because i
have high-speed broadband. Please help!

When I'm trying to login shortly after booting, my desktop do not appear for
about 3 min thereafter. I'm using standalone computer. The profile loads
fine. The Explorer.exe runs in background. The Task Manager doesn't show any
app eating off processor time. It did all started suddenly, and I cannot say
whether I did something specific with my computer to make this happen.
What may cause this issue?

Hi all,
I have done this a few times now with no solution. I have HP m260n and when I upgrade to MCE 2004, it takes a LONG time for it to start up/load when I start windows. So while it is trying to load, everything else usually hangs till it finally starts...I can force it to load faster by starting the MCE program itself, then the blue lights blink to indicate done loading..So what is causing it to take so long since all other programs start up fine.......hum

Internet explorer takes forever to load. mine is a new
computer and i had windows xp pro. i have internet
explorer 6 on the system. i was having problems with it
and then suddenly it started taking forever to load. so,
i went to microsoft website and they said that i can
reinstalll internet explorer if i choose to tweak a
registration entry, which i did. worked fine a couple of
times and now it is taking forever to get it loaded ( i
mean like 10 minutes). and mine is a 2.66 gig , 512 mb
ram system, 60 gig hard drive... please help me....
